Christmas Eve

The joys of living in Heber.
Sometimes the winters get long and the kids go stir crazy in the house, but there are a lot of benefits, like sledding on Christmas Eve.

Last year when we went sledding I had to make Seneca go down with me and she did't like it at all, but this year she went down with me one time and then she couldn't get up the hill fast enough.

Big brothers are great! Slade loved riding with Clancy.

Another benefit of living in Heber is you never know when Grandma Wendy might show up, and of course she would do anything for her grandkids. Clancy talked her into going down the hill with him five or six times.

Once Seneca went down the hill once with me she thought it was more fun by herself. I was impressed at how fast she hiked back up the hill and got ready for more.

Reynolds Family Christmas Party

Each year at the Reynolds' Family Christmas party all the kids dress up and we sing songs and read the story of the birth of Jesus Christ.

Our Ginger Bread House

The kids and I had a good time taking turns decorating this ginger bread house. Each of the kids took a turn decorating part of the house. I love this time of year when we take extra time out of our busy lives to do extra projects with our family.

Spreading Christmas Cheer

Charles is Bill and Arlyce's (Haskel's parents) neighbor gave santa hats for all the kids.

Merry Christmas

We had a fun ward Christmas party this year. The theme was "Polar Express" All the kids wore their pajamas and they sang Christmas songs on the "train."

Then Santa showed up at our party and all the kids sat on his lap and told them what they wanted, well not all the kids, Clancy didn't know what he wanted to ask for and he thought he was getting a little too old to sit on his lap.
Seneca asked for a make up set.
Seneca wore pink cat slippers and Santa kept saying how much he loved them, so when Slade got on Santa's lap he had to show Santa his shoes.

Slade asked Santa for a basketball.

Happy Birthday Seneca 12/3/2009

Seneca celebrated her 4th birthday. It is hard for me to believe she is already four. We had a great day together. Haskel took Slade to work with him and Clancy was at school, so Seneca and I had a "girley day" as she puts it. We did makeovers and we painted our toenails and fingernails. Then we colored and made her princess cake.

Above is a table that my mom and dad got for her.

Seneca loved her princess cake and we had fun making it. It was hard to cut into it.

Happy 7th Birthday Clancy 11/23/2009

I am a little slow at posting Clancy's birthday. We left town for Thanksgiving the next day so I am just getting around to it.

Alright, so Clancy's dolphin cakes didn't turn out near as cute as Slade's football cake, but I had a lot of extra help with this one, and it was a lot harder.
